Representatives of DJJS UK were invited to the National Memorial Arboretum

Representatives of DJJS UK were invited to the National Memorial Arboretum on 21st March to bless the soil of ‘Trees of Life’ glade to honour the service and sacrifice during COVID-19 pandemic.
Reverend Dr David Hoyle, Dean of Westminster, led the blessing of the new ‘Trees of Life’ glade, who then invited Sadhvi Bhakti Priya Bharti ji to bless the soil. Sadhvi ji recited the Sanskrit prayer “Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinaha” followed by Sadhvi Tajbir ji sharing the English translation of this prayer. Other faith leaders present also shared their prayers and reflective thoughts. The dedication included choir songs, sharing of a poem in memory of those who served and the lives lost due to the pandemic. The dedication was bought to a close by all present laying a flower around the tree.
